This summer I was commissioned to create a large sculpture of a red tail hawk. The real challenge was trying to match the realistic colors of a red tail hawk. I spent a lot of time researching red tail hawks. Apparently the coloring and plumage varies based on regions and subspecies, of which there are fourteen.

I am not going to say who commissioned this piece. But the sculpture is of a giant hawk. And the person is a good skateboarder. Probably the best.
