Clinton Library Event

I was asked to speak about my experiences at the Clinton Presidential Library recently, and while there, I had the opportunity to meet with President Bill Clinton. We spoke at length about how important the arts are to the growth and development of kids and how fortunate I was to have some wonderful art teachers and creative parents when I was young. While we were there, he spoke at a Thea Foundation press conference regarding the importance of art in schools and I spoke to several groups of Little Rock school kids and parents about my art, the exhibit and what it’s like to be a fulltime working artist that plays with toys all day. I’m not sure which one of us had more fun but I am truly grateful to have had the opportunity. The best part was when a young man came up and asked for a photo, but not with the President, rather with the Brick Artist.
